It was assigned to Umbonulomorpha by Berning (2006); to Umbonulomorpha by Gordon et al. (1994), Schmidt (2003) and Guha and Gopikrishna (2007); to Ascophora by Di Martino and Taylor (2013); to Ascophorina by Di Martino and Taylor (2015); and to Neocheilostomina by Gordon and Taylor (2015).
