Corsinipollenites psilatus was named by Jaramillo and Dilcher (2001) [Type locality: Piñalerita Creek near Sabanalarga. PaleoDB number 28416.
Paratypes: UFP 7, 13.3 x 91.6; UFP 15, 6.2 x 82.3.
]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is UFP 4, 16.5 x 100, a microspore (Pollen grain).
