Exechonella paucipunctata
Taxonomy
Exechonella paucipunctata was named by Brown (1956) [Exechonella with three or four large lacunae in the frontal wall.]. It is extant. Its type specimen is D.40896. Its type locality is Weymouth's Bore, which is in a Pliocene marine sandstone in the Dry Creek Sands Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Exechonella.
