Crototricolpites protoannemariae was named by Jaramillo and Dilcher (2001) [Type locality: Piñalerita Creek near Sabanalarga. PaleoDB number 28417.
]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is UFP 5, 13.3 x 97.7, a microspore (Pollen grain).
