Mesosolva karataviensis
Taxonomy
Prosolva karataviensis was named by Mostovski (1996). Its type specimen is PIN 2784/292, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2784), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Mesosolva karataviensis by Zhang (2014) and Grimaldi and Barden (2016).
