Taxonomy
Lophospira fasciata was named by Savage (1913). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Section in abandoned quarry ΒΌ mile southeast of Gale, which is in a Gamachian carbonate limestone in the Leemon Formation of Illinois.
It was recombined as Eunema fasciata by Wagner (2023).
