Psilatricolporites triangularis was named by Jaramillo and Dilcher (2001). It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is UFP 49, 10.9 x 87.6, a microspore (Pollen grain).

It was recombined as Psilabrevitricolporites triangularis by Jaramillo and Dilcher (2001).
