Taxonomy
Arthropoma torquis was named by Brown (1958). Its type specimen is MGSV, 53040 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Glenaulin, sample XVI, which is in an Oligocene/Miocene marine claystone in the Glenaulin clay Formation of Australia.
