Rogorthis pakriensis

Taxonomy
Cyrtonotella pakriensis was named by Rubel (1961). Its type specimen is GIT 125-102, a valve (ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Väike Pakri, Pakri Sandstone Fm., which is in a Valaste shallow subtidal sandstone in the Pakri Sandstone Formation of Estonia. It is the type species of Cyrtonotella, Rogorthis.

It was recombined as Rogorthis pakriensis by Hints (2014).

L. Hints 2014Medium-sized orthide with planoconvex shell; ornament fascicostellate, with 12–14 coarse primary costae branching on anterior half of valves. Cardinal process stout on elevated notothyrial platform. Subparallel vascula media divergent anteriorly; thickened rim along interior margins of the valves.
