Taxonomy
Lonchodomas tenuis was named by Nielsen (1995). Its type specimen is MGUH 23.065 (S108), a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Skelbro quarry, Bed-21, which is in a Volkhov carbonate limestone in the Komstad Formation of Sweden.
