Leiophyllites suessi

Taxonomy
Monophyllites suessi was named by von Mojsisovics (1882). Its type specimen is GBA 1698 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Schreyeralm (Geol Reichsanstalt coll), which is in an Illyrian carbonate limestone in the Schreyeralm Formation of Austria. It is the type species of Leiophyllites.

It was recombined as Leiophyllites suessi by Spath (1934), Kummel (1969) and Wiedmann (1970).
