Trochotomaria lobitzeri

Taxonomy
Trochotomaria lobitzeri was named by Szabo (2008) [pars 1861 Pleurotomaria suessi HÖRNES. – STOLICZKA, p. 192, pl. 5, fig. 1a, b]. Its type specimen is GBa 2008/69/45/5, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Feuerkogel, which is in a Sinemurian carbonate wackestone in Austria.

J. Szabo 2008Feebly coeloconical shell, composed of moderately convex whorls. Reticulate ornament consisting of regularly repeating riblets between adapical suture and selenizone, and spiral threads of different strength. Spiral threads developed only on abaxial half of base.
