Gunningblandella brynensis
Taxonomy
Sowerbyella sericea brynensis was named by Whittington (1938) [originally registered BU 314) selected by Cocks (2008, p. 95),]. Its type specimen is BIRUG BU 251, a valve (ventral valve internal mould), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Sowerbyella (Sowerbyella) sericea brynensis by Cocks and Rong (1989) and Cocks (2008); it was recombined as Gunningblandella brynensis by Cocks (2010).
