Taxonomy
Margaretta amitabhae was named by Di Martino and Taylor (2015). Its type specimen is NHMUK PI BZ 6937 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TF153 Bontang, which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian reef, buildup or bioherm carbonate/framestone in Indonesia.
