Taxonomy
Asaphus susae was named by Whitfield (1882) [Asaphus Susæ Calvin in Whitfield. Cfr. Asaphus platycephalus Billings 1863. Geol. Canada p. 184, fig. 183 Cfr. Asaphus platycephalus Billings 1866. Cat. Silur. Foss. Isl. Anticosti p. 24, fig. 7.].

It was recombined as Asaphus (Isotelus) susae by Whiteaves (1897); it was recombined as Homotelus susae by Raymond (1925); it was recombined as Isotelus susae by Clarke (1894) and Hopkins (2014).
