Cyclonema margaritoides

Taxonomy
Pleurotomaria margaritoides was named by Whiteaves (1897) [Pleurotomaria (?) margaritoides]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Inmost Island, Kinwow Bay, Lake Winnepeg, which is in a Maysvillian carbonate dolomite/chert in the Red River Formation of Canada.

It was recombined as Cyclonema margaritoides by Wagner (2023).
