Deltaherpeton hiemstrae
Taxonomy
Deltaherpeton hiemstrae was named by Bolt and Lombard (2010). Its type specimen is FMNH PR 1637, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Delta, which is in an Asbian sinkhole horizon in the St. Louis Formation of Iowa. It is the type species of Deltaherpeton.
