Enigmaconus pyramidalis
Taxonomy
Enigmaconus pyramidalis was named by Kouchinsky et al. (2013) [Enigmaconus? pyramidalis Kouchinsky and Vendrasco in Kouchinsky et al. 2015]. Its type specimen is SMNH Mo 167676 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 7-70.0 left bank of the Bol'shaja Kuonamka River, which is in a Botomian carbonate limestone in the Emyaksin Formation of the Russian Federation.

A narrow cleft (cast of pegma-like structure) separates a flattened smooth sub-apical portion from the rest of the mould. The surface of the internal moulds is covered with somewhat inclined and scaly polygons. |
