Taxonomy
Lodevocladus subtilis was named by Prokop et al. (2015). Its type specimen is Ld LAP 438, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is F40, Le Devès, Lodève Basin, which is in a Kungurian pond claystone/siltstone in the Salagou Formation of France.
