Ambilestes cerberoides

Taxonomy
Cimolestes cerberoides was named by Lillegraven (1969). Its type specimen is UA 2973, a maxilla (Incomplete left maxilla containing P3–4, M1–2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Trochu (KUA-1), which is in a Lancian terrestrial claystone/siltstone in the Scollard Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Ambilestes.

It was recombined as Ambilestes cerberoides by Fox (2015).
