Kirktonecta milnerae

Taxonomy
Kirktonecta milnerae was named by Clack (2011). Its type specimen is UMZC 2002 a and b, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East Kirkton Quarry, which is in a Visean terrestrial limestone in the Bathgate Hills Volcanic Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Kirktonecta.
