Vivaxosaurus trautscholdi

Taxonomy
Dicynodon trautscholdi was named by Amalitzky (1922). Its type specimen is PIN 2005/1, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sokolki locality, PIN 2005, which is in a Severodvinian/Vyatkian terrestrial horizon in the Salarevo Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Vivaxosaurus trautscholdi by Kammerer et al. (2011); it was replaced with Fortunodon trautscholdi by Kurkin (2012).
