Taxonomy
Eirlysia undata was named by Mazaev (2015). Its type specimen is PIN 4919/13-45, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Volga River, Krasnovidovo, locality 4919/13, which is in a Roadian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal grainstone in the Verkhnii Uslon Formation of the Russian Federation.
