Taxonomy
Biarmeaspira striata was named by Mazaev (2015). Its type specimen is PIN 4919/19-57, a shell, and it is a mold. Its type locality is Chimbulat Quarry, locality 4919/19, which is in a Roadian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Nemda Formation of the Russian Federation.
