Soleniscus girtyi
Taxonomy
Strobeus girtyi was named by Erwin (1988). Its type specimen is USNM 400706, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USNM707e, Sullivan Peak, Glass Mountains, which is in a Roadian slope limestone in the Road Canyon Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Soleniscus girtyi by Mazaev (2015).
