Royalella swallowiana

Taxonomy
Turbonilla swallowiana was named by Geinitz (1866). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nebraska City Section, Clay Pits southeast of Nebraska City, which is in a Virgilian marine shale in the Pillsbury Shale Formation of Nebraska.

It was recombined as Aclisina swallovana by Mark (1912); it was recombined as Aclisina swalloviana by Sayre (1930); it was recombined as Donaldina swallowiana by Knight (1933) and Yochelson and Saunders (1967); it was recombined as Aclisina swallowiana by Thein and Nitecki (1974); it was recombined as Royalella swallowiana by Mazaev (2015) and Wagner (2017).
