Asaphus incertus was named by Deslongchamps (1825). It is not extant.
It was recombined as Dalmanites incertus by Tromelin (1877); it was recombined as Kloucekia incerta by Henry and Morzadec (1968); it was recombined as Crozonaspis incerta by Henry (1969).
