Exochorhynchus buriti

Taxonomy
Exochorhynchus buriti was named by Anelli et al. (2009). Its type specimen is GP/1T 1997, a valve (Internal mould of right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mucambo Farmstead, Near the José de Freitas village, which is in a Morrowan/Desmoinesian carbonate dolomite in the Piauí Formation of Brazil.
