Chaenomya caatingaensis
Taxonomy
Chaenomya caatingaensis was named by Anelli et al. (2009). Its type specimen is GP/1T 2019, a shell (conjoined valves), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mucambo Farmstead, Near the José de Freitas village, which is in a Morrowan/Desmoinesian carbonate dolomite in the Piauà Formation of Brazil.
