Propalaeocastor irtyshensis
Taxonomy
Propalaeocastor irtyshensis was named by Wu et al. (2004). Its type specimen is IVPP V13690, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is XJ200203 (115.5 m horizon, bed 28), which is in an Oligocene terrestrial mudstone in the Keziletuogayi Formation of China.
