Eosischyromys youngi
Taxonomy
Eosischyromys youngi was named by Wang et al. (1998). Its type specimen is IVPP V11376, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gaodian, 1 km east of Changxindian, which is in an Eocene terrestrial conglomerate/claystone in the Changxindian Formation of China. It is the type species of Eosischyromys.
