Taskanatus asiaticus
Taxonomy
Alicula asiatica was named by Storozhenko (1997). Its type specimen is PIN 2781/248, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karaungir-II (PIN collection 2781), which is in a Changhsingian lacustrine mudstone in the Akkolka Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Taskanatus.
It was recombined as Metidelia asiatica by Aristov and Storozhenko (2011); it was recombined as Taskanatus asiaticus by Aristov (2015).
