Dagasuchus santacruzensis
Taxonomy
Dagasuchus santacruzensis was named by Lacerda et al. (2015). Its type specimen is UFRGS-PV-1244-T, UFRGS-PV-1245-T, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Santuario Schoenstatt, Santa Cruz do Sol fauna, which is in a Carnian floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Santa Maria Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Dagasuchus.
