Proterochampsa barrionuevoi
Taxonomy
Proterochampsa barrionuevoi was named by Reig (1959). Its type specimen is PVL 2063, a skull (skull with mandibles and five presacral vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hoyada de Ischiqualasto, middle third, which is in a Carnian/Norian terrestrial horizon in the Ischigualasto Formation of Argentina.
