Taxonomy
Pseudolioceras costistriatum was named by Westermann (1969). Its type specimen is McM J 1056, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Westermann WA11, Wide Bay (30 m), which is in a Bajocian marine shale in the Kialagvik Formation of Alaska.
