Distylomys tedfordi
Taxonomy
Distylomys tedfordi was named by Wang (1988). Its type specimen is AMNH 114262, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tairum Nor (AMNH and SSPE), which is in a Serravallian terrestrial sandstone/mudstone in the Tunggur Formation of China. It is the type species of Distylomys.
