Grus marshi

Taxonomy
Aletornis marshi was named by Shufeldt (1915). Its type specimen is YPM 888, a limb element, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Henry's Fork, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

It was recombined as Grus marshi by Shufeldt (1915), Hay (1930), Wetmore (1940) and Wetmore (1956); it was recombined as Protogrus marshi by Lambrecht (1933).
