Africanictis hyaenoides

Taxonomy
Africanictis hyaenoides was named by Morales et al. (2003). Its type specimen is AD 241'99, a tooth (left m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Arrisdrift, which is in a Miocene channel sandstone in Namibia.

It was recombined as Buhakia hyaenoides by Morales and Pickford (2017).
