Woodburnodon casei
Taxonomy
Woodburnodon casei was named by Goin et al. (2007). Its type specimen is MLP 04-III-1-2, a tooth ("isola- ted, worn upper right molar (M2 or M3)"), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is IAA 1/95, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial horizon in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica. It is the type species of Woodburnodon.
