Pilchenia intermedia
Taxonomy
Pilchenia intermedia was named by Goin et al. (2010). Its type specimen is MPEF-PV 3836, a tooth (right M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Cantera, which is in a Rupelian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
