Metaxygnathus denticulatus
Taxonomy
Metaxygnathus denticulatus was named by Campbell and Bell (1977). Its type specimen is ANU 28780A-B, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is near Forbes, which is in a Famennian terrestrial shale in Australia. It is the type species of Metaxygnathus.
