Acoelohyrax complicatissimus

Taxonomy
Plexotemnus complicatissimus was named by Ameghino (1904). Its type specimen is MACN A55-1, four upper and lower jaw fragments, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barranca south of Lago Colhue-Huapi, Gran Barranca, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial claystone in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.

It was recombined as Acoelohyrax complicatissimus by Simpson (1967).
