Taxonomy
Callicylix eocenicus was named by Pisera and Busquets (2002). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Munter, Vic area, La Guixa Member, Ebro Basin, Catalonia, which is in a Bartonian deep subtidal shelf marl in the Vic Marls Formation of Spain.
