Meridiolophus expansus
Taxonomy
Meridiolophus expansus was named by Bai et al. (2014). Its type specimen is IVPP V 20125, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shishan Town, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Huayong Formation of China. It is the type species of Meridiolophus.
