Allothalassoceras bogoslovskayae
Taxonomy
Prothalassoceras bogoslovskayae was named by Leonova (1989). Its type specimen is PIN 3591/410, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shindy River, Kochusu Suite, Pamir Mountains, which is in a Kungurian marine horizon in the Kochusu Formation of Tajikistan. It is the type species of Allothalassoceras.
It was recombined as Allothalassoceras bogoslovskayae by Leonova (2002).
