Westphaloptilus gallicus
Taxonomy
Westphaloptilus gallicus was named by Guan et al. (2016). Its type specimen is Bruay F.5 BR27-28, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Bruay-en-Artois, coal heap no 26, which is in a Westphalian C/Westphalian D terrestrial shale in France. It is the type species of Westphaloptilus.
