Vassacyon taxidiotis
Taxonomy
Vassacyon taxidiotis was named by Solé et al. (2013). Its type specimen is MNHN QNY2-2548, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Le Quesnoy (QNY2), which is in a Ypresian fine channel fill sandstone in the Argiles d'lignite du Soissonnais Formation of France.
