Vassacyon prieuri
Taxonomy
Vassacyon prieuri was named by Solé et al. (2016). Its type specimen is Riv. PPV 0704, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Petit Pâtis, Rivecourt, which is in a Paleocene fluvial-lacustrine lignite in France.
