Protohypsodont cheek teeth, lower crowned than in the species of Eoviscaccia, with cement in adult stages. Hypoflexus/id connected with the parafossette/metafossettid during juvenile stages. P4-M3
and m1-3 with two very persistent labial (in the uppers) and lingual (in the lowers) fossettes/ids. Mandibular masseteric crest slightly everted, as in Scleromys and unlike all known chinchillids. |
