Pseudhalmarhiphus guaraniticus
Taxonomy
Halmarhiphus guaraniticus was named by Ameghino (1899) [Type lost]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Deseadan of Patagonia, which is in a Deseadan terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Pseudhalmarhiphus.
It was recombined as Pseudhalmarhiphus guaraniticus by Patterson and Marshall (1978) and Marshall (1980).
